October 23, 2006, on his way
to visit family in Baghdad.


Pfc Bowe Bergdahl was
captured on June 30, 2009,
in Afghanistan.

I have made a promise to two young men who are fighting for their freedom daily. I promise that as Candidate for US Senate and if elected, to work to bring them home and give them the Honor they deserve as a Prisoner of War (POW). They may never hear the promise nor know that it was given, but they will feel its presence in their captivity! Their names are Spc Ahmed Altaie and Pfc Bowe Bergdahl.

The present administration has changed the designations from POW to a lesser, diminished category. These brave men are not listed as POW/MIA, but as "Missing, whereabouts unknown" and "Missing-captured!"

I believe this is wrong and their status should be fully restored to POW.

Join me in bringing these brave soldiers home!
