We are in a "race for the Senate," an interview process with you, the citizens, to demonstrate that we are worthy of your trust. The goal is not to "get the job", but to humbly serve our "boss," you, the people of New Hampshire. To think otherwise is mere folly.
I will cling to the ideals upon which this country was founded. That government works best when government stays out of the lives of the people. That "We the People" know what is best for us, not the government. That "We the People" know best how to spend our hard earned money, not the government. That "We the People" are tired of being taken advantage of and are ready to take the necessary steps to right this wrong.
I, like most people, sat on the sideline and let the politicians "do their thing" only to find out too late that they overspent and put this country into financial jeopardy. It has been said that greatest good should be for the greatest number, but so many times the greatest number turns out to be NUMBER ONE! Those in power often forget why they are there, to whom they are accountable and seemingly work for their own gratification. It is time for me to get off the couch and become a voice for the common good... to stand for ALL the people of New Hampshire... and mean it!
During the coming months I will share my thoughts on issues that matter most to us:
- The economy... jobs, jobs, jobs! We need to provide incentives for new businesses to come to this state, thereby creating jobs and provide financial security for our families.
- Accountability... making our Representatives responsible for their actions.
- Control government spending... out of control spending is depleting our resources, stealing our freedom and jeopardizing our national security!
